Shrimp Puttanesca

When you want a quick and tasty seafood dish, our Shrimp Puttanesca hits the target! Our rich and robust puttanesca-style sauce is made with flavorful Semi Sun Dried Cherry Tomatoes, a tablespoon or two of Shatta Hot Sauce, and our Wood-Fired Green Olive Salad and pairs perfectly with the shrimp. We enjoy it with orecchiete, which fills with the sauce so you get a burst of taste in every bite!
INGREDIENTS
- 10 large shrimp, cleaned and deveined (if frozen, thaw first)
- 2 Tbsp Wildfare Traditional Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 jar Wildfare Semi Sun Dried Cherry Tomatoes
- 1-2 Tbsp Wildfare Shatta (it's how the Mediterranean does hot sauce!)
- 3 Tbsp of Wildfare Wood-Fired Green Olive Salad
- 1 box orecchiette or penne pasta
- Fresh basil for garnish
PREPARATION

Bring a pot of water to boil.

Cook pasta according to instructions.

While the pasta is cooking, start the shrimp!

Heat the EVOO in a large skillet over medium high heat.

Add the shrimp, searing on each side for 2-3 minutes, until no longer transparent.

Lower heat and add the jar of Wildfare Semi Sun Dried Cherry Tomatoes, 1-2 Tbsp of Wildfare Shatta Hot Sauce, and 2-3 Tbsp of Wildfare Wood-Fired Green Olive Salad.

Stir together for a few minutes until the sauce is heated.

Add the cooked pasta to a bowl and top it with the delicious shrimp and puttanesca-style sauce.

Garnish with a bit of fresh basil and presto! Ready to dig in!
