The perfect decadent dip for National Chocolate Covered Anything Day! Our dried fruit paired with Scharffen Berger Chocolate and one EVOO makes a delicious ganache coating for, well, anything! Easy to prepare and luxurious in taste and texture. You might even just consume by the spoonful!
- 9.7 oz of Scharffen Berger 62% Semi Sweet Fine Artisan Dark Chocolate- 1 cup (7.5 oz) light cream- 2 tablespoons of Wildfare Early Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil- 1 tablespoon of whole milk- 1 tsp of vanilla extract- 1/8 tsp of fine sea salt
PREPARATION

Chop chocolate into ½ to 3/4 inch pieces.

Put the chunks of chocolate into a kitchen blender and drizzle olive oil over chocolate chunks.

Combine cream and milk in a small sauce pan and bring to a simmer, but do not let it boil.

Add vanilla extract and sea salt to the milk mixture, then add the hot liquid to the chocolate chunks and EVOO in the blender. Liquify for one minute.

Transfer with a a spatula into a fondue pot for dipping.
