Made with pantry pull ingredients, it couldn’t be easier – and you are in control. No artificial flavors or colors and no preservatives. BBQ sauce is a finessed balance of heat, sweet, and tang. It’s also personal, so you should adjust the ingredient proportions to get to your personal BBQ joy.

INGREDIENTS

- 1 jar Wildfare Organic Fire Roasted Red Pepper Ajvar (Hot)- 1 T Wildfare Shatta (more or less)- 1 T Wildfare Pomegranate Dressing- 1 T Wildfare EVOO- 2 T honey- 3 T tomato paste- 1 T mustard (Dijon, or your favorite)- 1 T apple cider vinegar- 2 T brown sugar- 1 T smoked sea salt- ½ t granulated garlic- 1 t black pepper- Water (to achieve your desired sauce thickness) |

Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan and heat gently for 15 minutes so all the flavors marry. Taste and adjust as needed. Add water to thin out the sauce if needed.

Let cool to room temperature if you are going to use the BBQ sauce immediately. Place in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to a week if you are using the sauce later.
