Who doesn’t love a good, relaxed weekend brunch? Add flavor and color to your table with classic waffles topped with our tangy Pomegranate Dressing! We love it sprinkled with fresh pomegranate arils and dusted with confectioner’s sugar for an added pop of sweetness. This one is sure to be a weekend go-to!
- 1¾ C All Purpose Flour- 1 Tbsp Baking Powder- ¼ tsp Salt- 2 Eggs, Separated- 1¾ C Whole Milk- ½ C Wildfare Extra Virgin Olive Oil- Wildfare Pomegranate Dressing- ½ C Pomegranate Arils- Confectioner’s Sugar For Dusting
PREPARATION

Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium mixing bowl.

In another medium mixing bowl, whisk the egg yolks.

Add milk and olive oil and continue to whisk until combined.

Add yolk mixture to the dry ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon until just batter is just mixed and still has some lumps.

Beat the egg whites in another bowl until stiff peaks form.

Carefully fold the beaten egg whites into the batter. It should have some egg white lumps, be careful not to overmix!

Heat a traditional or Belgian waffle maker and cook according to manufacturer’s instructions.

Serve by drizzling Wildfare’s Pomegranate Dressing (as much as you want!) over the top, dusting with confectioner’s sugar, and sprinkling with pomegranate arils. Bon appétit!
